It has been over 2 years since the children of the King of Pop lost their father. Now they’re attending private school and growing into their more regular lives. Paris Jackson stopped by The Ellen Degeneres Show and shared the fact that she enjoys attending a school where most kids didn’t know who she was. Paris admitted that she didn’t like the way her late father protected their identity with masks:
ELLEN: “Do you remember wearing a mask and going this is kind of weird?”
PARIS: “Yeah, I’m like, ‘This is stupid, why am I wearing a mask?’ But, I, kind of realized the older I got, like he only tried to protect us and he’d explain that to us too.”
On a brighter note, Paris is getting ready to make her acting debut in an upcoming film called Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys. When asked what inspired her to start acting, she replied, “When I was really little my Dad was in the movie Moonwalker, and I knew he could sing really well, but I didn’t know he could act. As you may or may not know, Usher was chosen as the celebrity brand ambassador for the newest edition of the popular beverage brand, (Belvedere) Red. The singer-songwriter jumped on the bandwagon after discovering that 50% of profits from the global sale of (BELVEDERE) RED would be donated to the Global Fund, an organization dedicated to educating and empowering global consumers to help eliminate HIV/AIDS:
“(RED) has had great success with its support of finding a solution for the epidemic of AIDS and HIV in Africa and I want to be part of its vision with Belvedere. Belvedere is donating 50% of profits from the global sale of (BELVEDERE)RED to the Global Fund and I want others to help Belvedere do something for the good of others This great initiative has offered a way for me to reach my older fans worldwide and encourage them to support an incredible cause.”
With the month of December being AIDS Awareness month, Belvedere Vodka hosted a series of global World AIDS Day events on December 1st, by turning clubs and venues (RED) to continue to raise awareness for the global epidemic. Continue
