On Sunday, President Barack Obama appeared on CBS’s 60 Minutes to discuss his record, his leadership, the economy and his prospects for re-election. According to a new CBS poll, 41 percent of Americans say the president has performed his job well enough to be elected a second time. After interviewer Steve Kroft mentioned that “75 percent of the people in the country think it’s headed in the wrong direction” and “54 percent don’t think that you deserve to be re-elected”, the president acknowledged that Americans should not feel satisfied right now: “We’ve gone through an incredibly difficult time in this country. And I would be surprised if the American people felt satisfied right now. They shouldn’t feel satisfied.”
President Obama added, “We’ve got a lot more work to do in order to get this country and the economy moving in a way that benefits everybody, as opposed to just a few,” reiterating talking points from his speech in Kansas, which has been called the “unofficial launch of his re-election campaign”.

TV personality/producer Shaunie O’Neal celebrated her 37th birthday at Philippe Miami restaurant on Ocean Drive in the sunshine state of Florida. The birthday girl invited close friends, family and her fellow Basketball Wives castmates (Jennifer Williams, Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada, Suzie Ketchman and newbie, Kenya Bell) to her Ciroc-presented celebration over the weekend (December 9).
Guests enjoyed a menu of filet mignon, beijing chicken and spicy prawns, as well as Ciroc cocktails named in honor of Shaunie. At the end of the evening, Shaunie was presented with a Ciroc Coconut-infused cake in the shape of the Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag. Must be nice…
