Leon “Eklipz” Robinson has been a rap renaissance man of sorts since Hip Hops birth in the late seventies as a noted emcee (as a part of Crown A’ Thornz group), graffiti artist, noted photographer, videographer and now published author and illustrator.
The Canadian multi-medium artist has brought to life the larger than life icons of Hip Hop with an uncanny sense of personality and style with the release of Hip Hop Homage, a glossy hardcover book packed with color and culture that showcases fifty of Hip Hop’s most influential men and women.
With the stamp of approval from many of the featured artists within the book itself from Ghostface to EPMD – Robinson’s hand made creations and the artists from the golden era to the hit makers of today are immortalized in this go-to guide that is sure to spark conversation about Hip Hop and its journey from then to now.

Rumor has it that the delays with the retail release of Frank Ocean’s street album, Nostalgia/Ultra, titled Nostalgia,Lite come from the inability to get samples cleared. However, it seems as though the team has found their way of getting the ball rolling on their own.
