Oh baby! Fantasia Barrino and her boyfriend Antwan Cook finally welcomed a healthy baby boy to their family on Monday (December 12) after news hit the web about the former American Idol winner going into labor. According to RadarOnline, Barrino checked into the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina that morning.
According to PEOPLE.COM, the baby’s name is Dallas Xavier Barrino and clocked in at at 7 lbs., 9 oz. She also released a statement saying:
“I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” Barrino, 27, tells PEOPLE. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.”
I’m sure Mrs. Paula Cook is still feeling some kind of way. Isn’t she and Antwan still married? Welp. Either way, congrats to Fantasia! **cues in “Baby Mama” song** [Source]

Husband and wife could live in separate homes and not see each other for a year+, and from what I know, these two have been separated for quite some time so…. Fantasia can date a separated married man if she chooses, it’s her life after all. I have a co-worker married to a man she hasn’t seen for 2 years, has been dating another man for 1 year; she gets the same static from people minus any baby.. people don’t know the circumstances involved so why give your 2 cents? You know what everyone of us have done something that we know we just should not have…but the good thing about it is Yahweh forgives. Tasia is doing her best and I say girl be strong. Haters will always be around because they are placed all around to push us to another level. Yes he is married……if he wants to be with you then he needs to handle is situation. However, do not stop him from being a father to your son. We need more black fathers right now, especially to children who’s parents are in the spotlight. Life is crazy! You have some couples out there who actually plan to get their careers straight before marriage, get married, buy a house… and they end up praying and begging to get pregnant, myself included. And then you have situations like this where BAM, preggers in no time! Through this journey of infertility, I’ve learned to stay in my own lane and continue watering my own garden versus everyone elses. NUFFSAID!
