Ester Dean – Backwards (full) – listen
Although she’s been working on an album of her own, Ester Dean is best known for giving Rihanna her signature sound with songs like, “Rude Boy,” “What’s My Name,” and “You Da One.” So, when songs like “Backwards” leak, it’s no telling whether or not the tracks are works of Ester’s own, or if she’s crafting hits for others.

Teyana Taylor feat. Chris Brown – Push Me Up (full) – listen
Teyana Taylor hasn’t been heard from on the music front lately, but while in Los Angeles, she has taken several sessions with Chris Brown, including the one for this Brian Kennedy-produced track, “Push Me Up.” It’s been a long time coming for Teyana’s album, do you think that we’ll be hearing more from her in 2012?

Lloyd – Playboy Centerfold (full) – listen
Lloyd recently released his latest album, King of Hearts, but is also known for being a pro in the studio, knocking out countless songs. “Playboy Centerfold” is some leftovers from previous sessions, produced by Miami natives, The Runners.

Katy Perry feat. B.O.B. – The One That Got Away (Remix) (full) – listen
Although she already released a video for it, Katy Perry is doing what it takes to get another #1 single out of her last album, Teenage Dream. She’s added Atlanta native, B.O.B. into the mix to see if the duo’s got what it takes to top the charts one more time on this last single.

Ester Dean is doing her best to fit into the industry standard for popstar. I wish her well. It’s not easy to lose weight and completely de-ethnicize ones looks.

Ester Dean track: predictable dance song, but not BAD.

The Teyana/Chris track appears to be a demo for Ciara… for now. [u hear her say "c.i.a.r.a." before Verse 2] Once she finds herself [image, production, etc] I’d like to hear how it comes out.
**If she keeps doing demos she’ll be successful either way though.**

Lloyd: song’s cute, doesn’t feel like it matches him though. But I’ll stick w/him because his last 2 albums were SOOO underrated…

The Katy remix gets a big “NO.” I like Bobby Ray & i like the original song, but this remix is FORCED. his part doesn’t mix well at all. -___-
