Meet Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Luke James. Although he’s already made is mark by writing for some of the biggest names in music, including Justin Beiber, Chris Brown and Britney Spears, James is creating a great buzz for himself with his free pre-album, #Luke (DOWNLOAD BELOW), which he released back in December. He also might be a familiar face, being a featured extra in Beyoncé’s epic “Run the World (Girls)” video, as well as Melanie Fiona’s “4 AM.”
While on tour with Robin Thicke, the New Age Rock Star Records (NARS)/Def Jam signee is presently working on his debut album, Made to Love. Although he has a few different visuals out, check out his latest video below, “I Want You,” which has been featured on BET’s 106 & Park.

I’m glad he has the opportunity to be in front of the mic now. In my opinion, some song writers should remain song writers, it’s a gift and a calling that doesn’t always pan out as well in front of the mic. I often wonder if songs Neyo, Keri Hilson, and a few others wrote and performed could have done better if sung by another artist?? Ryan Leslie however, is great either way. But, I’m a fan of anyone bold enough to be out in front so do ya thang Luke!
