As we mentioned last week, television personality La La Anthony is getting ready to launch her very own cosmetic line (VIEW POST). The actress joined forces with Market America and recently had a photo shoot for her new make-up line. In an interview with E! News, the Brooklyn-native revealed the name of her collection, how her cosmetic idea came to fruition and what it is she hopes to accomplish with it:
I always wanted to have a make-up line, but I just never thought that would actually be possible. My friend Loren Ridinger has the Motives Collection already and I approached her with an idea to come out with Motives By La La. I’m just excited and it’s affordable makeup.
It’s said that Motive By La La will be available for all skin types, but will focus on foundations to match ethnic skin tones, from light to dark. In addition, La La’s collection will include lipsticks, eyeliners, mascaras, eyeshadows, shimmers and a lip gloss line consisting of about 10 shades. Motives By La La hits stores on February 2nd!

MUCH SUCCESS LALA!! I WIL BE CHECKING IT OUT ;>)
Well what’s affordable to LALA may not be affordable to the average person. I’m sorry but I don’t believe in paying 7-10 dollars for some lip gloss, that I can get from the Asain store for .99 ( LOL) to me they work the same exact way, It gives you shine and it will wear off in a couple minutes
now foundation is different but again, I think that can even get expensive. It’s bad enough I pay for Mac, but it’s the only foundation that matches my skin to a T. I want to see LALA’s foundation and I’ll go from there. Good Luckk LALA girl, do the damn thing.
I was surprised, Motives for La La Cosmetics prices are very competitive with other brands as low as $14.50. Browse http://www.motivescosmetics.com/jillstwilliams to see for yourself. You will be pleased.
Kudos to you LA La. We need more makeup for us. People like Christian Dior doesn’t carry any shades for us at all! But blacks are still breaking their necks to wear the clothes. Congrats and I hope everything works out for her.
Wish her success.
beautiful..

Is the product line sold in stores? I am unable to match my skin at MAC, FF(without looking over made up) and other stores. I am hesitant to purchase without trying.
