Roc Nation’s Bridget Kelly has been selected to grace the cover of GHUBAR magazine‘s third anniversary issue. In a recent interview with Soul Culture, the 23-year-old singer-songwriter talked about how her first stadium-packed performance with Jay-Z (VIEW VIDEO) has put her a little bit ahead of her musical peers:
“It’s weird that I started kinda backwards; because most people spend three or four years working on an album then get to perform in front of hundreds of thousands of people and I got to do that first, just right out the gate.
Knowing that now, I think I’m a step ahead of the curve and I’m able to put my all into the recording process and development process so the presentation will be perfect. It will be a presentation of me but also a presentation of the Roc and that same level of integrity they put forth

i hear you…its a role of the dice i guess, she got talent and looks but she lacks the star quality of Rihanna or beyonce. i cant hate just hope that other artist who are talented will get great opportunities as well

I feel like she did a fantastic job and shes a wonderful singer she’s very talented and i hope she gets her shine and recognition like the rihanna’s and the beyonce’s
