Towards the end of the year in 2011, 1/3 of Dirty Money, Kalenna Harper took her solo spotlight with a new track and viral video entitled, “Go To Work” (CLICK HERE), and she’s back with more hard-hitting material on “Black Matte Truck.”
The new track will be featured on Kalenna’s first digital album, Chamber of Diaries, with features from Wayne Wonder, Crystal Nicole, Maino, Rodney Jerkins, French Montana and more. You can expect to hear more from Kalenna with the release this February.

I wouldn’t say a bulk of the album. Their were a lot of writers on the DDM project. Yes kalenna wrote a lot of songs but she didn’t do it alone, Dawn as well as diddy and many orher writers helped make the album what it was. People give Kaleena all the writing credit because it seemed like she had a small role in the group. And to be honest. If you bought the album and look at the credits you’ll see that the whole group had a major part in creating the album.
I like Kaleena and i’m rooting for her. I like alot of her solo stuff.

I actually like this. The medlody flows very nicely with the beat. The clip was random, with just showing her lips, but the effects made it work for some reason. She’s been songwriting and creating music for over 10 years now so I think she should be able to blow up, but with Diddy’s evil a–, it’s a great possibility it won’t happen.
