Brandy Norwood is making her promo rounds! The singer stopped by the Wendy Williams Show earlier today (January 9) and shared with the talk show host how her role on The Marriage Counselor came about as well as more details about the new mystery man in her life:
ON HER NEW BOO, RYAN PRESS:
He’s not an actor. He’s actually in music publishing. I am [in love] finally! He’s not older than me he’s one year younger than me. He’s very mature. He doesn’t have [children] but he loves Sy’rai. He loves my daughter.
ON HER ROLE ON ‘MARRIAGE COUNSELOR’:
Tasha Smith, who’s also my acting coach, she put in a good word for me to Mr. Perry and he called and it just happened. And I’d been looking for him for like 3 years. I’ve always wanted to work with him. This was the perfect project. I love the message of the movie and a great cast. I’m just really blessed to be apart of it.
Wendy asked Brandy about whether she really upset about Kim Kardashion being added to the cast. The singer denied it and added that she hasn’t had a chance to see Kim, not even during filming. She also took a minute to personally address Kim Kardashion while on air: “Kim, I love you and I’m here whenever you need me. Brandy is my girl ever since “I wanna be down” in 94 but anyway it seems like everytime there’s a guy who she says she really likes or is in love with the relationship ends up not lasting. I just think her career is over. She gets too personal about her love life and I can’t believe she said she missed her friendship with Kim Whordashian. I’ve seen a couple of episodes of her reality TV show and she’s just a bimbo that is self absorbed and shallow. Brandy keeps on saying new music is on it’s way, but I don’t believe it. She’s been saying that for years.

I’m guessing her record company is pushing album for may not only for presummer but to wait for the movies comes an d her tv appearances. Give the girl some support, she on her hussle. This girl was one of the biggest female r&b in the 90s. She has had much success. if give her props for not just giving up like some artists when record labels want to put them on the back burner.
