Earlier this morning, vocal powerhouse Mariah Carey tweeted her fans, asking them to pray for her husband, Nick Cannon. Apparently during their Aspen, Colorado vacation, the 31-year-old suffered a case of mild kidney failure and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Carey took to her official website and wrote a little blurb underneath their picture:
This is us in the hospital – role reversal; Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dembabies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are.
We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C.
We’re doing OK but we’re “straaaaaanded in Aspen”. #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK. I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers. LYM.
Hopefully Nick’s health will get better after this. He’s too young to be having kidney failure! We wish Nick a fast recovery.

I am not praying for him. He got better Healthcare than me. The doctors would have never hospitalized my black behind for mild kidney failure. Money first in America’s hospitals.

Thanks for that comment, tht is exactly how i felt. I feel sorry for the blacks that feel that they cant acomplish things, even a small thing as skeeing and such. Its suck a dumb comment made. We blacks can be and do WHATEVER we set our minds to!!
