Glory! It has been well over a decade since we all heard the soulful sounds of D’Angelo. With his third studio album James River on the way, the soul-singer kicked off his 11-city european tour at the Filadelfiakyrkan in Stockholm, Sweden on Thursday night (January 26).
D’Angelo performed some of his popular songs like “Brown Sugar” and “Chicken Grease” as well as some new tunes like “Sugar Daddy” and “Another Life.” He looks and sounds great! D’Angelo will be performing in Copenhagen, Denmark tonight (January 27) at the Vega.

I wasn’t feeling that performance. Hopefully he doesn’t do a “Lauryn Hill”……start off with a strong comeback and then give half-hearted performances. I’ll wait for the new CD to see if he brings the heat again. I still play his 1st and 2nd CD everyday. His clothes are too baggy in the video to tell if he has his old buff body back. How does he have his hair? I can’t really tell in this video.
I agree I’m tryna figure out if he picked up weight or lost it. Still, glad that is deciding to come back out, music needs him right about now.
