I seen this show for the 1st time today and it reminded me of why I don’t watch reality. I’m sorry but is this show supposed to be real? The whole program and cast performances oozed fakeness! I really appreciate VH1 being their for the D-List, you know hiring them since no one else will, but GOD damn did they have to make the show look so fake… This show makes the Kardashians seem real.

I am so happy for them both. Regardless of the delivery she knows her man and at the end of the day the proposal was for Chrissy and as long as she is happy with it that is all that matters. Jim didn’t even get on one knee! I would have expected my man to get on his knee. I knew Jim was going to ask Chrissy to marry him in Miami. Sure enough I was right. There was no way I was going to let working late at DISH, make me miss my show. I was able top stream it right to my iPad since I have TV everywhere. I love how I can watch any of my channels I get at home, on-the-go. When Chrissy started crying, I was like oh my goodness, get over yourself. Congratulations to them both!…However this show sends the wrong message. I do not condone black women sitting around until they’re 41 on a D-list rapper or any man for that matter and pressuring them into marriage. The only thing that disappoints me about Chrissy is that she is verbal and head strong when it comes to her feelings about everyone else. She was venting and crying before the proposal and completely switched emotions when he walked into the restaurant. I am still waiting on her to reach her full potential as a woman and do something outside of his shadow. Being a wife and a mother is a beautiful thing but for all these years she could have been putting herself to use and not waiting on a reality show to give her the leverage she needed to say to America what she could never say to her now fiance.

I feel like everything on that show is set up, including the so called “Friendships” among the girls. Then they tried to throw Teairra Mari on the show, and she always seems awkwardly holding conversations with people she doesn’t even know. The engagement part of the last episode was REALLY fake.
Weeeel, I knew from the previews that he would propose. Jim TRULY does love Chrissy and he’s not crazy. Chrissy was about to w-a-l-k! Was this an ideal proposal? Absolutely NOT! But I think it was sincere, and I think given Jim’s background and his issues with communicating, he did it the only way he knew how. Lest we not forget it may have gone down totally different had Chrissy not been mouthing off at the time the man was trying to get his act together for the proposal. She threw him off a little bit, so he finally had to just bust out the ring. I really don’t think Chrissy cared how he did it – he did it, and that’s what her heart was aching for. Sometimes men have so much of a good thing that they don’t appreciate it, and they think things are OK AS IS. Every now and then you have to let them know that if you don’t appreciate me for what I’ve been to you for seven years (holdin’ u down, ride or die, playing wifey, etc)., then another brotha’ will, or I will ride solo. She was doing fine before she met Jim, and she will do fine if it doesn’t work. she hasn’t tried to trick him with a baby to guarantee her livelihood – that’s how you know she’s real and Jim knows it too.
