With New York Fashion Week finally kicked off, Janelle Monàe made a classy red carpet appearance at the annual amFar New York City gala at the Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday night ( February 8 ). The charity event was hosted by actress Sarah Jessica Parker and Ms. Monae hit the stage to perform a few of her songs.
amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy.
