Tons of celebrities attended Clive Davis’ Annual Pre-Grammy gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night (February 11). The event had an interesting mix of emotions because of the shocking news of Whitney Houston’s death a few hours prior. And to add to the emotion of this, the singer’s body was still at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel – the very place the Gala was being held. Many said it should have been canceled out of respect, but as they say in show business – “The Show Must Go On..”
Her close friend and mentor Clive Davis spoke to the audience during the event and said “she had a talent beyond compare..” and asked for a moment in silence Check out more photos from the event below, including celebrity reaction on the red carpet.

Chaka tweeted that she pulled out. Too soon to perform. Not sure about the others but J. Hud is supposed to be performing.

I was sort of thinking the samething, but I didn’t want to sound suspicious like people who believes in the ILLUMINATI But I do know from observation that a lot of deaths ouccurs days before, during, or after these high profile events l.Not to sound suspicion, but I’m starting to believe these *hotel deaths” are just far more then coincidental….

I can almost feel the demonic vibe oozing from them all…Look at me, notice me, I’ m relevant I’ m a star.” In their sick desperate need to be a star they dropped all sembelence of being a human being. What’s worse is those who are so blined by their star “worship” they don’t get it.
I would have thought that if someone died in a hotel, (not just celebrity but anyone) that the one’s in charge would have not allowed such an event like a party take place. Also, the fact that no one supposedly knows how Whitney died, wouldn’t they be suspicious as to who else may have been in the hotel during her death? Wouldn’t there be an evacuation at the hotel. This is sickening.
i think alcia keys did real nice making her remembrance more uplifting rather than bring more somber and grief. i thought she was gonna sing, that wouldve been nice.
