Actress Wendy Raquel Robinson gets lacy for the February 2012 ‘Black Issue’ of DENIM Magazine. Inside, the BET’s The Game star talks about her alter ego Miss Wendy and shares her thoughts on the negative feedback received from viewers who have been a fan of the popular television series.
ON HOW SHE AND ‘THE GAME’ CAST HANDLE THE NEGATIVE BACKLASH:
WRR: You know people are always looking for something fresh- something new. The criticism last year was that we [The Game] were moving too fast. Now we’re moving too slow. We have 22 episodes and it has to build up. It’s hard for me to watch the show to see where improvement is needed- I mean if we’re in it we don’t see it.ON WHETHER HER AND TASHA MACK SHARE ANY SIMILARITIES:
WRR: Well I do have an alter-ego similar to Tasha Mack! [laughs] Her name is Miss Wendy! Miss Wendy about her business and will snap. She crazy and wants things done her way! [laughs} [Source]
As much as I love me some Tasha Mac… I can’t stand what they are turning her and Mel’s character into this season..
they are just showing typical black women in action haterading and throwing shade and beating down each other like most black witches do all the time anyway, especially the ghetto vs the non hood beef.
the ghetto black woman always out to beat the non ghetto black woman. The non ghetto acting is so called thinking she cute and talking white and the ghetto black is the so called real authentic keeping it real black mess. As if the non hood chick start to acting all hood and dumbing down her looks and style to get along with the hoodrat, then she wont be keeping it real to who she is. Only black folk, especially black women come up with that mess.
That last pic of her…I love the makeup, but ummm clearly, they are trying too dam hard. I am sooo tired of THIS! I see it everywhere now days. Does anyone stand for anything, ON THEIR OWN??

I haven’t watched the show in a while but I do not agree with her when she said the “too fast or too slow” thing. I think the complete show dynamic has changed since being a “bet show” In my opinion it is just like the show that comes on after it, trying to be a great show that everyone cant wait to see (even repeats) but falling short. I know I was watching re-runs of season 3 every time they came on, now I cant make it past the first 10 minutes.
