Brandy and Monica rejoin forces nearly 14 years after their 1998 hit single, “The Boy Is Mine,” with their new track, “It All Belongs to Me,” produced by Rico Love.
The track is slated to appear on Monica’s new album, New Life, slated to hit stores this April, as well as on Brandy’s album, supposedly due out in May.

I like this too but would’ve been happier if it wasnt a collabo. I don’t like Monica’s voice on it. She has a great voice no doubt but I want to hear Brandy singing THIS song with THIS production.

Can we all say VOCALS! They bring something totally different vocally from what everyone else is doing. As individuals they vocally they have a very distinct sound. Together they sound so skilled yet relaxed! If for no other reason this is EPIC because of the way they sing it.

This was hot….yes maybe the focus was too much material but not so much so repeated. It may have been a segway from “the boy is mine” to “it all belongs to me”. If they can make a good video now I think this should be another hit for them.

I agree..this subject is tired and unless they are getting a royalty check from Facebook, Macintosh and whatever brands they named in the song, they need to let it go. Also, I can’t handle all those wobbles in Monica voice…Brandy is always good with her vocals.
Great vocals, but the music and lyrics are VERY forgettable. I hope they record something 10x better and just call this song a teaser. Maybe they should’ve done something like a Diane Warren ballad.

They all did a great job (Rico included)… I love the beat and how the vocals just groove with it (especially Brandy in the beginning- her voice just fits)… all round it prolly could have been a little better regards to the artist’s emotions actually, but nonetheless very well done. Maybe not single material but definitely a favorite. Took me back to Destiny Child’s “Free” off the Destiny FulFilled album. GOOD JOB Brandy, Monica and RICO!

I so agree…after the first minute, I had to turn this mess off. These lyrics are not for 30 sumthin year old women with so much time in this industry. If they are planning a successful comeback, they better find some song writers and producers with real talent to match their own – or it’s another flop.

Their voices were excellent. This doesn’t sound like it would be released as a song. It sounds like maybe it was released in anticipation for both of their new albums. The song was just OK…They could definitely get a better duet maybe from Babyface, Diane Warren or even David Foster

Way better than I expected. I’m glad they didn’t try to do some pop record for radio, and did a song that was strictly R&B with amazing vocals. Brandy stood out to me on this song, her tone was incredible. The first line of the song, she killed that! I love me some Monica too, but the song really got me excited for Brandy’s record when Monica’s is dropping first. I wonder if this is the Monica album version, or the Brandy album verison??

I’m so disappointed in this song..when i heard they were collaborating again I was happy and couldn’t wait to hear the finished product..but now that I’ve heard it I wish I hadn’t..the production is not good and the lyrics are the horrible. “The Boy is Mine” sounds much more grown up and adult than this mess. I was really expecting more from these talented ladies.
The song is wack and dated. Love Brandy to death and like Monica too, but Rico Love didn’t give them a good song to sing. It’s not where music is right now. It’s just not current and kinda boring, honestly.
I like it. It’s defintely real soulful and radio friendly. Brandy and Monica are both slaying the track, with their two completely different vocal tones. But yet, they somehow compliment each other very well. And they do this without any auto-tune Bull Crap. Great Track.
