Real Housewives of Atlanta’s very own Kandi Burruss is branching off onto her own reality television path. The hit songwriter and former Xscape member will be giving aspiring singers the opportunity to become a pop star in her upcoming show, The Kandi Factory on Bravo:
Kandi will give two protégés, with no music industry experience, the opportunity to come to Atlanta. She will write an original song for each based on their personal stories. The amateurs will then have the chance to work with her team of experts–composed of a producer, choreographer and stylist–to master the key elements that make a pop star. [Source]
Oddly, The Kandi Factory will be airing as a one-time, 90-minute special on Sunday, March 4 at 10/9p CST on Bravo. Will you be watching?
i used to like Kandi….i’m no longer impressed. she fits right in w/ the rest of the cast. i won’t be watching.
I like Kandi but I don’t think I’ll be watching this reality show either.

Kandi can’t sing… She says she’s ‘a boss’ where at?! No one bought her solo album. She was in a group over 10 years ago…. Weren’t that great either. Several things that will cause this to be a fail. Just because you lucked up and autotuned and tweeked kim’s voice to death and made an I tunes hit. Doesnt mean that now you need to find people on purpose who cannot sing or dance and make hits. Its a disrespect to the people out there who really have talent and really want to be heard. Kandi this show looks desperate. Also wait Kandi has an image maker? LOL please contact Rihanna’s image consultant before she went blonde.

I love Kandi she has always been my fave Xscape and RHOA memeber however she cant make herself a star so how is she gonna do that to someone else, I wanted to buy her album but no stores in my city even had it….reality show flop

I totally agree with you, It’s so sad how many people are sooooooooooooooooo negative towards her, no matter what she’s helping others and not being selfish with her talent and gift.
I m in the military and I had the opportunity to meet Kandi before while singing in a military competition. and believe it or not she doesn’t act like a diva and is a very down to earth person. And I feel the whole point of the show is that if she can make someone like KIM a star maybe people would be crazy enough to give people like this a chance.. Call me crazy but I’m even thinking about submitting a video for this lol..
First off Kandi has written many songs in the industry not just for Kim. Bills Bills Bills, No scrubs, Mariah, Nsync and many others she has Grammys also. So please do your research and stop talking just because you have a mouth. Half of you commenting probably dont even have a job!
Strange there is sooo much hate on this site for Kandi, I guess because she ain’t loud and ghetto like the rest of the RHOA cast you gotta hate. I get it but give credit where it is due auto tune or not people bought and was filling that song she made for Kim. We all know (including Kim and Kandi) Kim can’t sing as well as Matthew but that was there dream and there goal they set out for and she assisted them. No different from what most of us do from time to time Someone has a goal ask for your assistance doesn’t matter if u feel they can do it or not we encourage them and help if we can. She can’t sing and Xscape wasn’t a good group They won a Grammy and this was prior to the life of auto tune. Lastly she can only make one hit wonders, so TLC, Pink, Destiny Child, NSync, Mariah Carey etc etc etc are one hit winders? And no1 goes to the stores anymore to purchase albums her cd is available on iTunes as well as napster I haven’t checked but u can look at amazon and google also So good day Haters!!!!
