On the Shoulders of Giants tells the story of the New York Renaissance, more commonly known as the The Harlem Rens — the first all-black fully professional black-owned basketball team.
The documentary, with NBA’s all-time leading scorer and U.S. Cultural Ambassador Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as executive producer, features Carmelo Anthony, Charles Barkley, Julius Erving and other NBA greats detailing the story of the first world champions of professional basketball.
