Alicia Keys arrived at the Chanel Ready-To-Wear Fall/Winter 2012 show at Grand Palais on Tuesday afternoon for this year’s Paris Fashion Week (March 6).
The 31 year-old mother kept it chic and classy in her black suit, but added a little cultural flair with a maang tikka, an Indian-styled forehead piece (LEARN MORE).
You may remember her wearing a similar headpiece at her wedding and while gracing the red carpet with her husband, Swizz Beatz. And if you’re into movies from all over the world, you’ve probably seen this same type of piece worn by women in a Bollywood film. Peep more pics after the jump!

What she do to your trifling ass? Are you Mashonda’s best friend or something? Give it a rest. If Swizz didn’t cheat with Alicia’s ass, best believe he would’ve cheated on Mashonda with somebody else, so Mashonda would’ve gotten the short stick either way. Not condoning cheating at all, don’t get me wrong, but celebs are people too and sometimes folks forget that, and at the end of the day, NONE of us know what really happened in that whole Alicia, Swizz and Mashonda triangle.
Anyway, the head piece thing looks funny. Not my style…I wonder if it moves around when you’re walking…it could’nt possibly stay in place hanging like that.

I do like Alicia and I’m basing that only on what I know about her that I know is true. I can’t base any feelings on things I know nothing about. She seems like a very sweet and caring person. I’m sure she’s not perfect but she definitely doesn’t deserve all the negativity and nasty judgements some people are putting on her. Looking forward to her new album.
