Wale takes it back to school with his new video for “Sabotage” (featuring Lloyd), off his latest album Ambition, which is in stores now. Directed by Asher Levin, the video follows a high school drama storyline and features singer/rapper Sabi as Wale’s love interest.

The cover of the year book said 2001, so I’m guessing that the video is suppose to be like a walk down memory lane. I thought it was cute. I started high school in 2001, so it brought back memories.

Lately I’ve been liking hip hop less and less, because it seems like everyone on the radio raps about the same thing (Drake=women and being a fake thug; Jay and Kanye= being rich and ignorant in Paris; J. Cole = women). Wale sounds kind of different. Yeah, he raps about women, but also everything that comes with women…love, relationships, etc. Think I’ll be picking up his album.
