Well look what the wind blew in! Ms. Brooke Valentine! The “Girl Fight” singer (who now goes by the name B. Valentine) is creepin’ back into the music scene after a 6-year hiatus. During that time, she gave birth to a baby boy and has been working on her upcoming album, which has yet to be titled. Check out her latest interview with Terrence J and Rocsi on 106 & Park. Her 5 bag of weave hair styles are just doing the most in the Forever video. The insanity song and video was horrid. She used to have some real swag……. Don’t feel bad. I need her to do her research.

She must be trying to go the pop route with these songs..Honestly I’m not really feeling either..I’m more into R&B..I think in order for her to have a comeback she needs to COME BACK with some hotter songs..With chicks like Rihanna,Rita Ora,Beyonce’ and many more in the game she doesn’t even stand a chance..I’m sorry hate to sound negative but I’m being real.I just do not see neither one of these songs being commercially successful.
Although it could’ve benefitted from a less-disjointed concept/cinematography, I’m feeling the “Insanity” song. That genre seems to fit her voice and personality. I think the video would’ve been better if she stuck to the looks in the bathroom that interchanged b/w normal Brooke and goth-Brooke (w/ long straight wig). Those scenes of her fully-clothed w/ that lace stockings in the tub were cool & reminded me of Fiona Apple’s “Criminal” a little bit too – in a good way
Get rid of the videos. Then again, get rid of everything. I actually bought her first CD. I was pissed when Tierra Marie came out and stole her thunder. Now, she’s looking like a thirty something year old soccer mom making Youtube vids in her basement while Tierra is hot and sexy on Love and Hip Hop. I was riding with you Brooke, but I think it’s best you find a stable job and take care of your son.
i like the first vid, second one i think she was trying to give a deeper visual aid for the song but it didnt entertain me it actually scared my ass. but either way i wish her best she has very nice voice. B, valintine you have my sincere vote!:)
