R&B songbird Tamia is back with a brand new single, “Beautiful Surprise.” The track, produced by Salaam Remi, is the lead single from her fifth studio album of the same title, Beautiful Surprise.
She has already shot a video for the track with her husband, Grant Hill. Tamia took to her Twitter to talk about her new album. She’s in the studio with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Chuck Harmony, The Runners and Claude Kelly. Expect to hear more from Tamia this summer!

She doesn’t make music for the radios. She’s on her own indi label making real music. THIS is traditional R&B. couldn’t/ wouldn’t want it any other way <3

Yes!!! My other favorite Canadian R&B artist!!! I’m soo glad she’s back, I heard the song over the weekend and can’t stop listening to it. I hope her, Deborah, and Kelly Price still drop the Queen Project, I’m dying to hear that album!! I will definitely buy this album when it comes out!! I love Tamia!!!

It’s a great summer time song. I can’t understand what kind of music people think is good. People have gotten so used to listening to trash that when they hear real music they complain. This is the younger generation that don’t know crap about music and excepting anything.

Wow…an R&B song. Where is the annoying Eurocrap sound? What about the vulgar meaningless lyrics or dressing up like a street walker? Tamia must not know what sells. I wish her the best with this single.
