As national outrage spreads about the murder of Trayvon Martin, the attorney of shooter George Zimmerman spoke with ABC news’ DAVID MUIR about his client — telling the news outlet that it was self defense and Zimmerman actually suffered some injuries after the incident. He also said that Zimmerman is surprised about how big the story has become..
–Attorney Craig Sonner said the public is only hearing part of the story, and when all the facts come out, it will be clear that Zimmerman acted in self defense. A grand jury is scheduled to begin hearing the case April 10.
“George Zimmerman suffered a broken nose, and had an injury to the back of his head, he was attacked by Trayvon Martin on that evening,” Sonner said. “This was a case of self defense.”
When asked why Zimmerman went after Martin, even though a 911 dispatcher told him not to, Sonner said: “Those are questions that will be answered.”–
George Zimmerman’s friend, Joe Oliver also spoke to the media denouncing that his friend is a racist. He also claims that Zimmerman didn’t say “coon” on the tape, 
instead he said “goon” which he says is a term of endearment.
–The Zimmerman family friend also denied that a word the watchman is heard blurting out on one of the 911 tapes is the racial slur, “coon.” Oliver said the word he hears Zimmerman saying is “goon.”
“As far as, I mean as far as George being racist, I didn’t take it as a racist term. I heard ‘goon’ and talking to my teenage daughter, apparently goon is a term of endearment in high school these days,” he said. [ READ MORE ] –
Also according to Oliver, Zimmerman cried for days after the killing and is currently in hiding because he now fears for his life.

this is straight bullsh*t!!!!. they’re trying to spin this story to make it appear that this zimmerman fool is not a cold, blooded murderer, and that’s exactly what he is. he followed and killed that young boy when the police told him not to. now they are trying to drag and smear trayvon’s name through the mud. bringing up all kinds of stuff that have absolutely nothing to do with what happened that night. if you look hard enough in any of our lives you can always find something. it only took them a month to formulate this fabricated story and come up with some fiticious witnesses. where was all of this evidence when the murder occured? no matter how they try to make trayvon guilty, the fact remains, zimmerman was in his automobile, he got out of the automobile and followed trayvon. when someone follows, pursue, chases you, however you want to state it, you can fight or flee. trayvon fled but zimmerman caught up with him so his next option was to fight, if a fight did occur he had every right to defend himself. If your calling 911 on someone you think is “suspicious” you most certainly wouldnt be using a term of endearment PERIOD. Lets try it on for size:
