Roc Nation’s very own Rihanna did a brief interview with ‘On-The-Air With Ryan Secrest’ on Thursday morning (March 15). The pop singer talked about how hard it is for her to gain weight, her nerve-wrecking experience of filming scenes for her upcoming movie ‘Battleship’ and of course gave a personal explanation and reasoning behind her musical reunion with Chris Brown on “Birthday Cake”:
The first song that came about was Birthday Cake. I mean we ended up recording them at the same time and executing them together, but you know, I reached out to him about doing “Birthday Cake” because that’s the only person that really – it made sense to do the record. Just as a musician despite everything else that was going to be the person. You know I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown, so I wanted him on the track. And then in turn he was like ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and you know, it was a trade off. We did two records. One for my fans. One for his fans, and that way our fans can come together. There shouldn’t be a divide. You know? It’s music, and it’s innocent.

There is nothing innocent about Rihanna’s or Chris Brown’s music at all. I love both, but I’m just saying.
It’s funny that Rihanna doesn’t even realize (or doesn’t seem to realize) that she put her career on the line making these “innocent” records. Jay-Z is clearly not here for it at all. Hence his “sudden” Rita Ora promotion. In his words he’s ‘ON TO THE NEXT ONE’ and y’all better believe it.
Oh plz..Rihanna made Jay-Z so much money last year with her LOUD tour that HE would be dumb to let her go. But – he never was that smart when it came to managing musical careers. Take a look at his wife’s latest FLOP!
Jay Z can kick rocks! What Jay Z fails to understand is Rihanna can LEAVE him for another manager and label. She will always sale because people actually live for her. She is an INTERNATIONAL POPSTAR! Her success has actually actually is better then JayZ because in just 10 years she has made her name INTERNATIONAL! Jay took 25 years to get to this point. He can drop her for this new chick that he is promoting all he wants but NO ONE pays her any attention! She wont sale like Rihanna has! Jay’s a wealthy business man and Riyawna’s music is no where near the biggest part of it. Jay Brown makes more off her than Jay as she’s only under MANAGEMENT. Music is the smallest part of his checks as he’s a real estate investor and owns many businesses.
She’s running around doing interviews for DAMAGE CONTROL. She knows she’s on the decline when she was getting over for not being a singer to begin with but a studio artist with good pop writers. Her nudity stunts is as played as Kim Kuntdashrightin’s. Last 2 albums flopped and so did the singles except for 1. She wants a relationship back with Chris and is running around trying to get the world to accept “THEM” as a couple. Chris was wrong and should’ve walked away but he needs to wake up. As soon as he wants out or another woman which is what started that fight to begin with she’s going to hit him uncontrollably like she did that night in the car when he was on his way to pick up Karreuche and his career will really be finished the next time he retaliates. He needs to stay as far away from this walking 15 min almost up time bomb as possible. Rita Ora who’s music isn’t my taste thus far but is #1 across the pond, actually writes and can actually sing without studio gimmicks and is taking her shine. White folks were her bread and butter and they’re tired of her and condemning her. She’s done.
