Last month, 11 year-old Willow Smith shocked the online world when she showed off her new buzz cut and now she has been experimenting with different color choices — showcasing them on Instagram. First opting the blonde look and most recently with a bolder color choice of Green.
In the exact same pulse, award winning producer Pharrell Williams was spotted rocking some green dyed hair while attending shows during Paris Fashion Week this past weekend. March is the month of St. Patrick’s Day, so this may be where the theme is from. What’s your take?

I’m sorry, but if I was Jada, I wouldn’t let my 11 year old experiment with her hair like that. Cutting it all off? Hell no. I understand the different styles for videos and all, but other than getting glamed up for a video, her ass would have regular old everyday hair. She’s only 11…is she running the damn show, or is Jada?

That little girl is 11 years old. She needs to go play on some monkey bars and stop invading my computer screen with her little too grown self. Her parents are doing her a terrible disservice. There is no way all of this exposure can be a good thing.

First of all “slow people” why because we do not agree with it. I think at the end of the paragraph we were asked if we agreed with it; we are commenting. I’m sure you’re not always in agreement with something on CL. That is her business to do whatever she wants to with her hair, BUT being in the public eye she is fair game for comments.

I personally don’t see anything wrong with her hair, if that’s what she wants to do to express herself then by all means carry on. I think its very age appropriate. Now, if she had a head full of weave, wearing pumps and stilletos and dressing as if she’s in her early 20′s then that would be a problem. I admire the fact that she is bold and confident enough to be her own person and step outside of the box, regardless of how much negative feed back she receives. If her hair color is neon orange next week, I will stand behind that also. Will and Jada appear to be doing a wonderful job raising their kids, I highly doubt they would allow them to do anything inappropriate. Go ahead and express yourself Willow

I don’t really see it as a big deal for either, tbh. I love Pharrell unconditionally though lol, so in my eyes he can do no wrong. As far as Willow, IMO, getting a perm / chemical relaxer (which is done extremely commonly and always overlooked) would be a LOT weirder and a LOT less constructive than her just spraying her hair green (for whatever the reason). NBD~ She looks cute.

Ok Ms. Willow. We get it. “you whip your hair back and forth”. First of all, we know a 9 or 10 year old didn’t really write that crap. It was studio manufactured to look as if she did it. IMO, she is a few years too young for all that to be appropriate. Now that she has the younger crowd’s attention, it would be nice if she directed this young angst to really having a message.

Willow seems to be acting out. Its not just her hair of late but its the things she has been tweeting and the weird pics she’s posting as well. She needs some constructive mommy and me time.
