VIDEO: LETOYA LUCKETT’S NEW WEBISODE, “LIFE, LOVE & MUSIC” (EP. 2)

March 2nd, 2012

The second episode of Letoya Luckett‘s webisode is here! In this “Life, Love & Music” episode, the Lady Love singer hits up Chicago, works on new music and has a juicy conversation with her girlfriends about communication and trust in relationships. Kinda wanted the girl talk session to go on a little longer LOL Check out the video to see what was said!

I hope she dances this time around she dnt gotta dance heavy nd all but shes very melodic and her movements are alwys there. I just hope she surprises us with the visuals and i hope media start trying to give her a chance

I think Letoya Luckett is such a bore. The segment on the men was so boring. They don’t know what the in the world they were talking about. Letoya sorry babe you and your Entourageare are ghetto fab. Just concentrate on you and Your obsession with Matt Kemp you know you love him.

Are you kidding me? The session was good and how is she ghetto? Would you rather see glasses flying and women acting without class?

    Jay-Z was on Oprah today.

First let me say, LaToya, you were always my favorite girl back during the Destiny’s Child days; however, I now roll with Bey 1000%. That’s not to say, that I’m not still rooting for you…but one question: what is the purpose of this waste-of-time-Webisode? I watched the entire thing only because I’m a fan of yours, and I wanted to get to know you a little better. But, I was NOT–by any means–entertained enough so that I’d tune in again. I’d like to suggest you focus your efforts and energy into your vocals and dancing skills, get your footing and shine, and take full advantage of this time while Bey is fully focused on being a mom to Blue…Sincerely, Rooting for L.L.

The only part I was into was the convo about men, some of what they were saying was real talk, but what they were saying was really nothing that we didn’t know or haven’t heard before..the rest of the episode was just blah.

I love LeToya a lot and I really want to see her succeed but I think that these webisodes could benefit more with more focus on her third album. Perhaps, it’s going to come later in the web series. I just think it should be more positioned to have a “Making the Band” feel. I want to see primarily rehearsals and vocal training sessions and song creative development stages with a little mix of personal life footage. This way, people can begin to buzz around her music which I feel like was the point of the web series. I understand they are trying something new but a change needs to occur before a lot of people tune out and they miss the window of opportunity.

This new webisode seems similiar to her mini-doc “H-Town Chick” that was her 1st CD.

Okay, I’m wondering if myself and some of those from earlier comments were watching the same webisode. Letoya has got a great thing going for herself, she’s extremely talented and seems to be very outgoing. I know ghetto when I see ghetto and I didn’t get that from Letoya at all so that earlier comment completely confused me. And to those who claims that Toya seems to be such a bore, she can’t be that much of a bore because Concrete Loop posting the webisode obviously caught your attention long enough to generate a comment from you. That is all.

I must say I really enjoyed this webisode. I think we as black woman are just so caught up in the drama of these other “reality” shows, where there are fighting and cursing, and acting like they have no class; that when we see our sisters just sitting down, having a CONVERSATION, the first thought is “its boring. Its too long”. We have GOT to do better than this ladies. Letoya was very open, honest, and truthful and I can honeslty say, if they picked up this on a telvisison network I will check it out. Also to be able to see the making of great music, from BEHIND the scene is different and refreshing. We always see the end result which is the album. Wouldnt you like to see the blood, sweat, and tears that goes INTO making the music we love so much. I think Letoya did a great job. I love these webisodes! Kudos to NOT fighting and pulling weaves, to being a lady and keeping it real!
