The family of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin continues in its quest for justice as George Zimmerman, the self-appointed neighborhood watch captain who shot and killed him last month, has yet to be charged for any crime.
Following the release of the 911 calls over the weekend, on Mon., March 19, Trayvon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, appeared on NBC’s Today with family attorney Ben Crump and explained to Matt Lauer that her son had “committed no crime” and George Zimmerman reacted to the color of Trayvon’s skin. Actually having a Black president is making things worse. So many people are livid that a black man leads America. I never seen a president more scrutinized than Obama. Myself and friends are experiencing more racism at the workplace than ever before- its pure jealousy and hate. They are cool with having us friends but when it comes to us being in charge they don’t like it. I love Obama so much but I’m tired of people constantly talking so much ish about him because he is black. Racism in America is so rampant that Obama can’t even make a statement about the Trayvon case.
As far as Trayvon, I hope this dilemma is solved which is Zimmerman being placed in prison becuase if not I truly believe there will be riots.

now that this story is all over the internet, radio, and TV they will have no other choice but to charge this guy they can not turn the other cheek on this case b/c it got out to everyone they can not keep this silent now and that was their plan but thank god this story came to light and now everyone is looking for justice to be served.

I’ve heard about this on Tumblr for almost a month now. I’m so happy the media is starting to pick up the story because it needs to be told. It’s a great example of racism in America and a big “F-K YOU” to those “colorblind” white privilege deniers. Obviously color is something people see and trying to brush over that simple fact isn’t going to make racism go away…

How could he just kill a little boy? I was always told that if a minor hit you and you hit him back, you would be automatically arrested; no matter if he started it because you are the adult and I guess that’s not true in some areas. Of course it wasn’t reported that the boy hit Zimmerman, that was just an example. The police need to be fired and ashamed as well. They are just as guilty for letting him go. Seriously, everyone in America needs to take a Xanex. I have some facts not even Al Sharpten, also know as “The most racist man in the world” could not argue with. George Zimmerman is Hispanic…NOT white, I really don’t understand how overnight Hispanics became Caucasian (that’s right, it was the only way to not sound dumb when having an incorrect opinion). Zimmerman was, let’s not forget, the neighborhood watch captain. I think that no one knows what this really is, a neighborhood watchman is someone who keeps and eye out for the residents of their neighborhood. Usually these people know almost everyone who lives in the area, what has been going and also what to do if they see someone suspicious.
OK this being said, let’s look objectively now. It is late at night, so, dark outside and according to police very low light artificial light. Zimmerman, while putting his life in danger patrolling the area, notices a suspicious person…”suspicious” being a subject behind an open gate of a gated community, with a rash of recent break-ins, attempting to disguise himself (hood-up, walking in the shadows, early in the AM). He follows procedure and keeps pace with the suspect while obtaining a location and description, then, notifying police (this is the only reason the suspect was identified as being a “suspicious BLACK male”, he IS a black male and he was suspicious. He was being described to law enforcement so that they would have an idea of who they were looking for when they responded.
At this point, according to witnesses and police reports, Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle to follow police instructions and “no longer follow him”, when he was attacked from behind. Having his head slammed to the pavement and his face struck (this has never been denied). George then noticed the subject reach into his waistband for something, seeing this he drew his weapon and fired.
I still don’t understand how this could be seen as racist or a cold blooded murder. There is not motive, there is no malice and there is no possible way that the 17 year old did not look suspicious. Zimmerman was doing what he was supposed to do, protect his neighborhood. Suppose the subject had a gun and Zimmerman just let him walk around, someone ends up being robbed and murdered.
Also, think about this if YOU were going to murder someone, are you really going to call the police on yourself? I doubt it. Oh, and I thought that Zimmerman was the racist, or wait was it the police who responded, that’s right it was both, oh, and the acting Chief of Police (who just happens to be African American) also a huge Racist. Sounds to me someone is reaching for the stars on this one.
