It’s Cassie! The “King of Hearts” singer took a little cigarette break as she made her way to a nail salon in Los Angeles, California over the weekend. In a recent interview, the recording artist talked about dealing with her modeling career overshadowing her music career:
“There was a point where I was like…it’s just not translating, things weren’t bridging because people were constantly seeing me modeling and I don’t think people were really catching my personality in the mix of it all. It’s a difficult challenge and I’m still working on that now. I just want people to really get to know who I am and I think that will inspire people to listen to the music more.” [SOURCE]
What wasn’t translating…the fact that you can’t sing? No we got that message loud and clear. Stick to the modeling and drop the cancer sticks.

Why does everybody want to sing? Do you know how many people have beautiiful voices, and work call centers…thousands. A pretty voice is not enough, and does not mean you should pursue a singing career. That field is saturated with people who just want to be famous
