First of all you didnt answer to my question, I repeat again, where did your intelligence take you in life? How far? Secondly, education is always valued, but to have access to this, you need money. The majority of the world goes to school to get degrees to get a job and mainly to get MONEY, it is what makes this world functions. All the lessons you learn in school are there to help you define that job you will pursue and get money from. These lessons are in books, these books build a part of your personal culture and at this point, she has all the time and money to buy libraries and read. She can travel around the world and be cultured, which I’m sure she did. That is what I call a life. Some people are lucky enough to find their goal on earth and live it. Do you know how many musicians, painters, business men, historians didnt finish school/college? Steve Jobs or Malcom X, Basquiat, Mozart. They didnt finish and quitted. Because the most important lessons in life are not in the books, these are the ones you learn from life experiences with other people and cultures, all the ups and downs. That’s how you get wisdom and if you find this, I trully believe it is much more beautiful and useful than university. There are people who get to college, get education and a job but they are not fulfilled. Beyoncé is already set for life and is only 30. I don’t care one way or the other, I mean, it’s People’s decision. And it’s People…not like this is TIME magazine and she is the person of the year. My thing is again, Black folks sit and whine and gripe about her in particular, but when we stop having our Black celebrities in the limelight, we’ll sit back and complain. It’s like no one is ever happy.
On the whole GED thing, great for her. Always thought she had a tutor and graduated highschool. Personally I’m like whatever on that too. The purpose of getting those things like us normal folks is to be able to have a fighting chance in the real world and job market, something she bypassed by wanting to pursue music at an early age. She’s paid her dues like anyone else, so to want to do that, which she doesn’t have to do when you’re worth millions, I think shows her tenacity as a person.
All of yall are lacking intelligence. Getting the cover of People’s most beautiful doesn’t solely mean how you look. Its made up of a multitude of things. Your looks, your persona, what you’ve accomplished, your sense of style, how you carry yourself, etc. So its not just based on whether she’s beautiful or not you dumb azzes! Dang, do some research before you start hating on someone you dont’ even know!
