Directed by Andrew Dosunmu, Restless City tells the story of a young West African man surviving on the fringes of New York City. Music is his passion, life is a hustle, and falling in love is his greatest risk.
After great reviews from viewers and being selected as the 2011 Official Sundance Selection, the African-American Film Festival Releasing Movement (AFRM) will be screening the film in select areas, starting April 27th. Check out the trailer below & visit the film’s official page for more info.

This movie looks interesting and it will be added to the other movies from Sundance that I think will be wonderful. Does anyone know when “Gun Hill Road” and “Middle of Nowhere” will be released in limited or wide release?
I’ve been following Andrew’s work for a few years. Looking forward to this project!
from the trailer it looks like this movie was beautifully shot and directed. can’t wait to check it out.
Honestly I don’t know what its about I personally would want a trailer to give me some insight on the movie before I jump into it
