Helen Williams and her daughter actress Vanessa Williams promote their new book, ‘You Have No Idea’ at Barnes & Noble on Thursday (April 19) in New York City. The duo also sat down with Good Morning America earlier in the day and spoke in detail about the process of writing the book.
In the book, Vanessa opens up about the Miss America scandal and also a childhood traumas (abortion and molestation) she experienced. Check out the interview & more photos below..

Anywho, I wonder how old Helen Williams is. I know Vanessa hitting 50 soon. They look beautiful, well and healthy. Her mom must be in her early seventies. They look happy together, mother and daughter. She needs to really enjoy the time she has with her mom. Tomorrow is never promised. My mom was about that age. She passed a few weeks ago but I felt I got closure.
Wow, she looks amazing and it is good that she has a chance to open up to the world about her life. this book will change lives.
