From a business/branding perspective, of course this is a calculated publicity move, but take it from someone who knows, after you have a child, you have to take the time to re-define who you are apart from being someone’s mother and someone’s wife. Just because she is a celebrity/public figure, she is still a woman, going through the same things any woman goes through as they mature through the different phases of life. Beyonce is becoming more comfortable with who she is, so she’s able to share that with other people. She’s willing to expose herself more because she’s less worried about what other people think. She was such a private person because what people thought actually mattered to her. Now that she’s finally secure with who she is, she could care less what people think. She’s probably figured out, that no matter what she does, it will never be right by everybody – non celebrities deal with that too. In the end, you just do what makes you feel good and at peace. I loved the pictures by the way, all of them. Her intimate moments with her friends and family aren’t very different from mine.
