‘DON’T SLEEP w/ TJ HOLMES’ COMING TO BET
CNN news correspondent TJ Holmes announced late last year that he will be leaving the cable news channel for an opportunity at the BET cable network. A lot of people were surprised, confused and a little curious as to what he would be bringing to black entertainment TV.
Well now it has been reported that Mr. Holmes will be in fact hosting his very own late night show called ‘Don’t Sleep with TJ Holmes,’ which will feature the journalist discussing today’s issues, but with a comedic twist:
“DON’T SLEEP WITH T.J. HOLMES is a fresh new voice joining the ranks of Jon Stewart, [Stephen] Colbert and Bill Maher. T.J. Holmes gives you a good reason to stay up late. With hilarious ‘correspondents,’ T.J.’s sure to have viewers rolling with laughter over the absurdity of today’s hot-button issues.
“Speaking through a unique and smart African American filter, T.J. invites the community to wake up on the issues that affect them; don’t sleep on the stories that mainstream news outlets won’t cover. The show will also open ears with captivating, unexpected musical performances. DON’T SLEEP WITH T.J. HOLMES reports with keen focus to keep Black America engaged and in the know.”
Who knew TJ Holmes had the secret talent of humor? Let’s see how this pans out…No word on when the show will hit the TV screens…
I just hope TJ made the right choice. BET is known for dropping the ball on shows left and right. I would have thought CNN was where the $ is at anyway but oh well I digress

BET needs a facelift and I think TJ would be a great addition. I wouldn’t mind watching his sexy behind talk about worldly issues at all <3

The name of the show is really stupid. BET already f’ing up! Why cant they just keep it simple and say “Late night with TJ Holmes”, “Lets talk about it”, or “Midnight explorations with TJ Holmes” (that last one kind of has an unintentional sexual innuendo but whatever… yall know what I mean). I do like the concept of the show tho and TJ Holmes is fine so I will be watching!
