If you’re a fan of the show like us, you’ve been waiting a while for the new season of VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’ and now — Keisha ( LisaRaye McCoy), Raquel ( Denise Vasi) and April ( Charity Shea) are back for the 2nd season of the Queen Latifah-produced television series. A colorful, new promo pic dropped this week and features the saucy updated cast. Denise Vasi will be playing Keisha’s friend, a sophisticated business woman coming into her own and calling the shots (as you all know, Stacy Dash decided to leave the show last year)..
VH1′s ‘Single Ladies’ officially kicks off on Monday, May 28th at 9PM ET/PT. In the meantime, check out the promo trailer and promo pics below. This season, La La Anthony, T.I., Lauren London, Romeo, Rick Fox, Big Boi, Eve, Chili, and of course Queen Latifah will be making guest appearances.

Lisa Ray looks like Denise Vasi’s mom in the preview. I thought with Stacy Dash leaving they would replace her with a woman similar in age. In terms of the show’s writing what would 2 girls in the 20s have in common with a woman in her mid 40s? Too bad it did not work out with Stacy Dash.
I agree Jasmine… Lisa and Stacy were around the same age.. I guess this means Lisa will throw in some extra neck and finger snapping. lol

LisaRaye is a hustler; but a total B. She caused problems with Stacey and pushed her out of the limelight now she is the main star of the show. Notice how she is in the middle now before she was to the left LOL.
Black women do that everyday. She was being a typical black woman hater…the hater professionals, most black women stay jealous.
But now she will look stupid trying to hang with 20 something year olds, and she is close to 50… At least Stacy and her where around the same age. Is she gonna be mother goose, or old hoodrat?
Who said Lisa caused problems? That was gossip/rumors. IF that was the case; Stacy should’ve stood her ground and let Lisa and any other “B” know she was not going to be bullied into leaving the show. I LOVE Stacy Dash; but I love Lisa’s no nonsense attitude; they both were MAIN characters in my book. I hated to see Stacy leave; BUT I will continue to support the show.

DB Woodside is too fine. They needed another fabulous 40s lady like Stacey Dash along with Lisa Raye. Now it looks odd for Lisa Raye wearing a girls dress. Much classier last season. We shall see. I will watch it for DB woodside alone and for the clothes.

I like to support African American shows but I am gonna have to pass on this season. It was all about Stacy Dash. It was her business, her apartment, her friends and co-workers and her men. I have heard many things about Lisa Raye and I wouldN’t put shit past her. Sabotage. Stacy had the tears and the humor, the vulnerability and the strength not to mention the looks. The bitch was bad. Stacy was relatable. I think Lisa Rye is great looking but next to Stacy she was an ugly duckling. Probably pissed her off.

Both Lisa and Denise are gorgeous regardless of their ages. I too am a huge fan of Stacey Dash and I hate to see her leave. I hope that the rumors are not true that Lisa had something to do with Stacey not returning this season. the fate of the show this season will tell it all because we all know what goes around comes around. I am in favor of the show and wish it much success. I will be watching!
All of yall are so freakin stupid….if you stay up on it and trying to put people down when y’all ain’t makin no money on y’all on…..y’all would realize that Stacey Dash said she left the show because she felt she wasn’t spending enough time with her kids…LisaRaye had absolutely nothing to do with her leaving….oh and obviously yall don’t watch LisaRay’s tv show either because she is over her ex husband…..I wish everyone and the show the best of luck……we already hardly have any black show and the ones we do have are bad influences with all the fighting and profane language….not putting any show down, just speaking the truth!
