Basketball Wives personality Tami Roman dropped by The Wendy Williams Show‘s ‘Real Life Hot Topic’ segment and talked about her upcoming television move, how she plans to be different in the upcoming season as well as how she plans on being a better role model for her daughters, Lyric and Jazz:
“If you know if you turn the camera around on anybody’s life for one day, everybody’s has a moment that they aren’t too proud of. [...] This particular incident really taught me a valuable lesson. I wasn’t really acknowledging the platform that VH1 and Shed [Media] have offered me and I wasn’t really being responsible. For the first time, I looked at my daughters and they weren’t really proud of their mom. They were embarrassed of me. [...] They take a lot. And I said, ‘You know what? It’s ridiculous that I’m on TV. I have a huge platform. I should be responsible. I should be accountable. You know? And I haven’t really been honoring that.”
At the end of the day, Tami says the only person she has to blame is herself. After her incident with her castmate Kesha on last week’s episode, Roman has made a personal vow to never embarass her daughters again by acting out on television.

Even though this has been a trying season, I hope at some point my cast mates can get along and be civil with one another. I will always appreciate Basketball Wives Season 4 and this time in my life for the abundant lessons learned and personal growth I was forced to face. Shaunie is not giving up that money; she doesn’t care she is fronting. Why would you video tape a counseling meeting with your pastor; that is private. Again Shaunie doesn’t care, everything she does it is for money. This is a fake pastor as well; he should’ve said NO to the video tapes in his church and you see how they zoned in on his name. He is all about the money as well. I remember when Eddie Long was seen on RHOA, I lost respect for him then; so when the other came out…it didn’t surprise me.

I agree. I stopped watching the show after last season because it was too ghetto and childish. When I saw the commercial with Eveyln throwing a bought at one of the new girls I thought how childish. What grown woman loses her whole composure after they “hear” someone talked about them? That is ridiculous and not a good reflection of how black women roll. Also why is the show called “Basketball Wives”? Last time I checked none of them are married to NBA players. Real basketball wives are ladies like Tamia, Monica, Keyshia Cole, and Gabriell Union (after she gets married). Not those mean ghetto girls on that show are married and totally disrespect their kids by embarrassing themselves television.
They did have someone that would have checked Tammi…but they kicked Mrs.Metta World Peace off the show. They were throwing shade from day one with her.

if the audience has decided that they don’t like you …it’s a wrap.
Tami did herself the biggest injustice but not reading this season and the public response last season. She acted like a school girl wanting to stay in with the in crowd and trying to sever ties with the old nerdy friends. She didn’t realise that the public saw her as the star of the show, the who showed class and dignity in the way she handled Evelyn and showed Shaunie up as the backstabbing friend that only really had hers and Evelyns interest at heart.
Tami spent this series kissing Evelyns ass as if Ev was the head cheerleader of the damn mean girls squad. She kept on about Jen not being a good friend to Evelyn but forgot how Jen stuck up for her and refused to hate her even when her best friend Ev did. Evelyn and Shaunie sat back and watched Tami self destruct and laughed along, all the while knowing Tami was turning the public against her and shifting attention from their shadiness. Tami saying “F Royce” is another example of her hippocracy and her eagerness to solidify her faux friendship it the fake ass Eve, Shaunie and that sly ass Susie. Royce, (the only one to call her friends out on their bull) is the realest bitch on that show and has more class than Shaunie had Shaq stacks. The most real conversations and relationships I’ve seen on that show have been when Jen & Royce first started getting to know each other, Jen & Tami, Jen & Royce and Royce & Keisha. The rest of those faux friendships are just to stay relevant.

Crazy. Grown woman go through issues and I agree if the cameras where on our lives our moments would be exposed but there’s a line you don’t cross. I honestly liked everyone on the show minus Kenya. I like the rest of them. I’m glad Jen is gone she wasn’t woman enough to even own up to her mess she did but wanted to call Evelyn out on her mess. Negative. I commend Tami for saying she wrong even if it did take the PUBLIC to call her out plus I think Evelyn deserves kudos for acting mature and finally sitting down talking to Jen. We all have our fallen outs friendships and it’s up to the individuals in the situation to make it better. Be real and act your age things would be fine but the producers have to have responsibility in this too. Love the show, it’s pure entertainment. SAME GOES FOR BAD GIRLS CLUB. If we are canceling shows let’s cancel MOB WIVES, BAD GIRLS CLUB AND ETC. Bullying is wrong…empowerment is beautiful.

Am I the only person that remember Tammi as being a bully on the Real World on MTV? She was all shades of ratchet and horrible then, and I felt she terrorized her castmates/roommates on that show. Tami is who she is. What happened with Kesha is who Tami Roman really is.

What everyone said about the show is so real and true. I could not believe the audience clapped for Tammi.
