LisaRaye McCoy opens up about the drama that went down before Stacey Dash decided to leave VH1′s Single Ladies in the newest issue of JET magazine. In the May 28th issue, the actress addressed the rumors of her and Stacey Dash getting into arguments on set as well as which celebrity she had to let go as a friend:
ON THE DRAMA THAT WENT DOWN ON SET w/ STACEY DASH:
“Yes, there was a disagreement over a scene. And it really wasn’t with me. It was with the director. I think it was about 2 or 3AM and we’d been shooting all damn day. Stacey tried to argue with the director about a line. And I’m like: “Girl, if you don’t say what the director wants you to say.” It wasn’t that serious at first, but it went there.”“It’s a bunch of women on the set. We might all be on our damn period at any given point. I just wanted us to move forward. Then the argument took on a life of its own. The show decided to use it for publicity. They just ran with it.”
ON THE CELEBRITY FRIEND SHE HAD TO LET GO:
“Duane Martin. I introduced him to my ex-husband [former Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick], he got buddy-buddy with him and then turned against me. Just recently, this fool Duane up and sold a building he and I bought awhile ago in Los Angeles, without asking…I don’t care if we’re not friends, just don’t try to f**k me in the interim.”When I heard about him in the middle of Will & Jada’s divorce rumors, I tweeted: sounds familiar. She has been talking about Vivica since 2010 and Viv never responds. I’m thinking its a reason Vivica and Star Jones both stopped messing with her. She makes it seems everyone took her ex’s side; but maybe just maybe it was LR.

I don’t care for the show at all, but Lisa Raye cannot act at all. She was only tolerable on “All Of Us” with Duane Martin.
Lisa Raye is a beautiful woman, but I really wish she would learn to keep it classy!
It doesn’t seem like there’s any environment that she can enter without starting some kind of beef. That’s not a good look for her as a business woman.

If she had any knowledge or training as a professional actress, she would know that you don’t comment to another actor who’s getting direction from the director. Do your job and let everyone else do theirs.
