Usher and Chris Brown were among the performers at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The airing also featured a special Whitney Houston tribute by singer-songwriter John Legend and singer-actress Jordin Sparks. Whitney’s teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina and sister-in-law Pat Houston took the stage to accept the Millennium Award in behalf of the late and great superstar. You really can’t compare Whitney and BK because Whitney was something special. Whitney looked way better than her own parents; and I have yet to hear a singer with a range, timbre, or voice as plain pretty as hers. Mariah can sing all over the stratosphere; but her tone was never as beautiful or effortless.

I loved Usher’s performance. He’s a true performer to be able to dance and sing live. Unlike CB who lipsynced the entire performance. Loved Jordin’s rendition of WH song…beautiful

You either like Jordin Spark’s voice or you don’t. I’m not a fan. But in terms of just being able to carry that song, she did a really good job. Just don’t like the tone of her voice.

I think that Chris Brown should learn how to sing and dance at the same time or cut down on his choreography so that he can actually sing his songs because his lip syncing is obvious!!!
Usher is a 30 plus grown man it would be physically impossible and also look weird for him to be dancing like Chris Brown. I will say that his style of music should reflect his age more instead of catering towards what is selling at the moment. He should be progressing to an R&B music icon instead of competing with pop stars. I do agree that by him actually singing and performing it does show that he is still a force to be reckoned with however.

CORRECTION! Neither Beyonce or Janet or any other mail in his 30′s can do the things CHRIS BROWN does. Michael was the only one who could do that and he was something magnificent. Usher didn’t start out as a dancer. His best attribute is his voice.
That show was sooo HORRIBLE!! the only performance that was notewortny was JOrdan Sparks, everything else was like sitting in front of dryer watching it SPIN, YAWNNN!! cheap sets and bad performances!!!

BK is not her mother; but she can do better to make herself look attractive. She needs a good stylist and a great wig/weave if that’s how she wants to wear her hair. She also needs to know what styles to wear for her face. The wig and clothes she had on; made her look old. I pray she gets it together and move away from Hollywood; I pray that she will become mentally and emotionally stronger than her parents.

I agree that Bobbi is her own woman now and should not be compared with her mom. However, I would love to see her a lot more polished than she is now. She could really be a force to be reckoned with regardless of how “attractive” she is. In my opinion, she is actually quite attractive, people just can’t really see it because of her presentation. I believe that if she is going to be in the limelight (if she chooses) then she should have a stylist!!! She’s the daughter of a queen…act like royalty. Just my opinion, y’all…I LOVE Whitney!
