While walking the red carpet at the Moscow premiere of Men in Black III on Friday, Will Smith slapped a Ukrainian reporter who attempted to kiss him. In video obtained by TMZ, Will says, “He tried to kiss me in my mouth. He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him.”
According to TMZ, the television reporter often kisses celebrities as part of his schtick. Obviously, Will missed that memo. Check out the video footage below.

Truthfully Speaking, there is a huge difference between kissing in performance of a acting role and as part of red carpet antics versus being kissed spontaneously by an unknown person who infringes on your personal space at a public event. I can’t imagine being accosted in that way by an interviewer. Remember, he was touched in an intimate way without his permission and yes by someone of the same sex, which was unappealing to him. It is quite likely that the “human being” Will Smith is very wary of fans, paps, media personnel who cross the line. To me, the shoving and the light slap were completely understandable and realistic in that moment.
Forgot to say, there was absolutely nothing innocent about that kiss. Clearly, the perpetrator was doing it for the effect so it could be captured on camera. He just didn’t get the footage he wanted. Some members of the media need to be reined in. They should start with basic respect… no touching!
