Snippets of Looking 4 Myself, the forthcoming seventh album from Usher, have surfaced ahead of its release next week. Described as “revolutionary pop” blending electronic, R&B and pop, the album includes the singles “Climax” and “Scream” in addition to features from Rick Ross and Pharrell. That ninja has always been lost. I’m glad he finally is taking the time to look for himself. Hopefully, its a sincere search but I doubt it. Maybe he can write R.Kelly to tell him to begin or attempt in searching for hisself too bc that is one ninja who need finding!
I havent heard much of R. Kelly’s new music but the tracks by Usher that radio is forcing down our throats are unbearable…Im like who does he know to get such widespread simultaneous airplay for this many bad singles…

One good thing I can say about him is that he’s dancing with more energy again. I think he still needs help finding a consistent and well rounded image and concept for his style, music and stage shows. I’m not liking this “I don’t care” phase. I think his focus and dedication as an artist may be too dived by his other responsibilities.
usher is all over the place right now…he needs to really decide if being artist is important to him now. he has two kids and that nice bieber money coming in…he can chill like justin timberlake and do movies or sumthin…this new music is garbage

Haven’t really been feeling Usher’s music lately. some songs are ok, but it’s a little too boring and monotone, like Drake’s production, for my taste. I was really hoping that Ursh would team back up w/ JD for this album. Oh well. *sigh*
As for Kels, some of the tracks I’m really feeling – a couple songs sounded like they were inspired by Barry White – I was impressed. Not sure if I’m gonna buy the album though. I LOVED Love Letter…

who says an album has to be cohesive and match all over…. as an artist i know , to be truly genuine sometimes means to do what you feel instead of thinking too much and doing what’s expected. I feel like usher has opened his ears . i love the sound of everything! I will say that this is more of a collection of music VS a typical album…but all in all I love this usher..

I love Ushers new sound, true I want him to make another Confessions album but I’m happy with the music he’s giving us. Give the new album a chance its a great one!! Usher isn’t a one dimensional artist & he likes to make all kinds of music. Love it or Hate it he still is going to do his own thing! PS why don’t people trip off Chris Brown when he makes a pop type song?
Usher makes good music. When are people going to stop holding him to Confessions. The music is better that most Artist out right now. If he made every album like confessions then people would say he has no growth. All Usher albums have something to offer. Open your ears and really listen.

This entire thing is trash. Usher is torn: he wants to make music like he used to be but he also wants to have radio hits and we all know that in order to have radio hits nowadays, you have to make fist pumping music — which is trash. This album is a disappointment.
Firm believer in growth. Without it we’ll never challenge ourselves and reach our full potential. Confessions was a monster of an album, but that can’t be duplicated…Not even MJ made another Thriller, or Nas making another Illmatic. Hits are spontaneous. Dance music is annoying at times, but is it he that has fallen off or you that has failed to evolved? Confessions was released in 2004…its 2012…Do you really wanna hear the same thing? Challenge yourselves people damn!
