Somebody cue in the introduction to the “Thong Song!” Recently, former Dru Hill member Sisqó co-hosted Singersroom.com’s R&B Spotlight showcase.
Held at B.B. Kings in New York City, the show highlighted some local up & coming R&B singers. In between his introductions of artists, it was only right that the platinum blonde artist bring an excited fan on stage and perform a song of his own, particularly his 2000 popular ballad, “Incomplete.”
Concreteloop’s Taj Washington had a chance to sit down with the “Thong Song” singer and chat about what to expect from his upcoming album, Last Dragon, the state of the music industry today as well as whether he can out flip Chris Brown. Lol Peep both clips and more pics below.

No, keep doing your thing love. Nothing has passed you by. You still have it. You still sound good. The game needs you badly. It’s too much crap on the radio right now. No real music. I understand that ppl have their own opinions, and that’s cool but some ppl are miserable in their own lives and they love to bring others down to feel better about what they’re lacking, instead of encouraging ppl to keep pushing on. Again, you sound great! Just please do you and don’t come out trying to compete with these new young artist. Yeah he is working the “Dragon” themes but I guess that is his handle. He still has a great voice and I STILL enjoy Dru Hill’s music to this day.

Ask his 8 baby’s mamas. Shut up ^^^ His music is STILL funky, love that raspy voice and his solo album is the s*it to this day (the first one). Dru Hill’s music is classic early 2000s, no autotune, just pure heart. Did you hear how he sounded LIVE? Can’t wait. And yes, I am up their as!, jockin, etc…because I just heard talent…and real instruments! Love it!

The Dragon is his brand. Even though he snagged it from Bruce Lee. Even still…all these gangster rappers were trying to be Al Copone and The Sopranos. If the MOB and OGs can be themed in music then so can Bruce Lee. Go Sysqo! I remember when people used to call him Crisco.
