I personally think he really admires her artistry and he chose this song to honor her. How is doing a cover, and honoring her in the music video distasteful? Its a song, its a remake…it happens ALL the time.

I think he was doing a tribute for Whitney. A lot of people got on camera and recorded tributes for Whitney, and she hadn’t been gone a full week. I don’t see why you’re giving him flack for this. Furthermore, Whitney’s estate can’t come after him for proceeds because Whitney didn’t write the song, Babyface did.

i don’t know about her estate suing him….but i do know that folks defending him are doing so because they like him. plain and simple.

I agree with Jasmine. Tributes to Whitney are always welcome. But when I log into itunes and see an advertisement to buy Robin Thicke’s new single “Exhale (Shoop Shoop)” I have a problem with him profiting off her death. Using Whitney for profit is what he is doing.

Im pretty sure Whitney’s camp would own the royalties to her music. Its Copyright infringement if he made a profit from her song without crediting her. And further more this, just becaused its advertised doesnt mean the label financially backed it. it could very well be an independant single. just sayin

Robin Thicke has a “black soul”? What is that? The most “racist” caucasians have always been so obsessed with so-called “black people” that they go to the point of emulating black people. You are just easily misled. You saying that “whites helped blacks during slavery” is not “deep” and (for the most part) it is not accurate. Most of the so-called “abolitionists” were anarchists and/or central bank provocateurs. Furthermore, black people of the captivity were not “sold into slavery by their own people”. The white man concocted that story in the last 20 years to absolve himself in the minds of simple blacks.

Please explain more Judah regarding the “sold their own people.” I really try to understand that story because I’m not all the way sold on that idea. I’m not sure how to begin the research but you seem educated enough for me to inquire your knowledge of it. Thanks in advance.

First off, let’s go by the white man’s premise that black people “sold their own” into slavery. That premise, and it being a pretext that the caucasian uses to absolve himself of wrongdoing, actually shows how malicious he is in general, and particularly towards our people, that he would think that him buying slaves as opposed to “kidnapping” them is an excuse for his entire power structure being built off of the backs of the indigenous people of the earth. If he were to use that excuse for “black” people, then what is his excuse for what he did to the native Africans? The Hawaiians and other Polynesian islands? The Australian aborigines? The British takeover of India and China? The holocaust of the Native Americans? His present destruction of the Arabs? The caucasian man leaves a societal thumbprint of destruction wherever he goes and HIS HISTORY BOOKS tell us that. What has happened is that black people started to attend his educational institutions in the 1950′s and he had to re-write history so that they would not be made aware of their “benefactor’s actions”. To answer your question, black people ruled Europe during what are called in history the “Middle Ages”, “Medi-evil Age”, or “Dark Age” (which is a play on words). The so-called “Germanic tribes” (who were so-called NEGROES) conquered the Greco-Roman Empire and assimilated certain aspects of caucasian culture. That is why the Roman Empire became known thereafter as the HOLY Roman Empire in the West, and the “Byzantine” Empire in the East. Note that the word “Byzantine” means “backwards” or “reverse”. Also note that the word “german” means “original people” or “people of the seed”. “Germ” = “seed”. The black man today, even in his ignorance, sometimes calls himself the “original man”. When you understand that blacks ruled Europe in what the white man calls the “DARK” Age, then you understand why the white man coined the term “Renaissance”, meaning “rebirth”. To be “reborn”, you have to have “lived” (the Greco-Roman Empire), “died” (the rulership over the caucasian by the black man during the “Middle Ages”), and been “reborn” (the “Renaissance”, which is the renewing of the caucasian Greco-Roman Empire). That is when history starts to make sense brother. During the Middle Ages, the caucasian man was known as a “serf” or a “slav” (meaning slave). The Lord brought a great epidemic known as the Bubonic Plague that swept through Europe and decimated predominately the blacks. That is why the caucasian man refers to it in his history books as the “Black Plague” (again a play on words). That epidemic coincided with the serf rebellions, the “Reconquista”, and the “Renaissance”. The white man has a show on the cable channel SHOWTIME, called “The Borgias”, which basically details the rise of the caucasian family that presided over the reconquista and the Renaissance because the white man knows his TRUE history. Cesar Borgias is the person who posed for what is now known as the accepted image of Christ. When the blacks who ruled Spain were taken out of power, they were relocated to Western Africa in order to be shipped to America. The gold that was taken from them funded the “Age of Exploration”. Certain black descendants of the diaspora from the conquering of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 A.D. that lived on the west coast of Africa were captured by HAMITIC Africans, but our people are not HAMITIC. We are SHEMITIC. That is why to this day, native Africans separate from blacks of the captivity for the most part. Many blacks also came to America as explorers or indentured servants. Most of our people have names that we had all the way from the Middle Ages. Names like “Dunn”, “Duncan”, “MacDuff”, “Blackman”, “Moore”, “Morrison”, “Morrisey”, “Douglas”, “MacDougal”, “Kennedy”, “Stewart”, “Ivey”, “Iverson”, “Spade” etc. are all of “Anglo-Saxon” i.e. BLACK ORIGIN from the Middle Ages. The white man took those names onto himself when he came into power. Those are “Anglo-Saxon” or “Norman” names, and they were BLACK people. The king that I have in my avatar was a KING OF ENGLAND, not somewhere in “Africa”. People like Charlemagne, Ivan the Terrible, King James, Queen Elizabeth, Vlad the Impaler, Shakespeare, Beethoven, Henry VIII, William Wallace, etc. were BLACK people, believe it or not. That is a very annotated version of the answer to your question.

You should get a book called “Ancient and modern Britons” by David MacRitchie. It is two volumes, and it is very scholarly, but if you are sincere you will get through it. You should also get a book called “Nature Knows No Color Line” by J.A. Rogers. Those are good starts. The book “Nature Knows No Color Line” has the coat of arms of the ruling classes of Medieval Europe and shows them to be negro. The history is very vast. For example, the knights were black. The cavaliers, or as they were also known, the “musketeers”, were black. Do a picture search on the writer of the “Three Musketeers”, Dumas. He was a black man. The pirates were black, and they normally robbed slave ships or molasses ships involved in the slave trade. That is why the most famous pirates had names like “Blackbeard”, “Black Bart Roberts”, “Captain Morgan”, etc. Beethoven was known as the “Spanish Moor”. Spartacus was black. He was a gladiator, and the majority of gladiators and entertainers in the Roman arena were black, just like the majority of entertainers in the sports arena today are black. This is again, how you know that the modern European/American society is a continuance of the Roman Empire.

When you say “We” when talking about Shemitic Africans, do you mean the black slave descendants in the Americas? And the native Africans are Hamitic? Or did I read that wrong…

There are so-called “black africans” that are of the descendants of Shem (i.e. the Ashanti, the Igbo, etc.), particularly on the west coast of “Africa”, but the vast majority of Africans are HAMITIC. Yes, the bulk of the so-called “blacks” of the captivity are “Shemitic”. Your “color” is not your race. The so-called Chinese and Japanese look similar to the naked eye, but they know that there is a difference based on lineage, culture, history, etc., and there was a demarcation made at some point in antiquity. One of the terms that blacks were called in medieval Europe by the caucasian was “gypsy”, which is an abbreviation for “Egyptian”. That word being used at that time is equivalent to today’s term of “African American”. When you read the scriptures, you’ll see that out people were called “Egyptians” by the caucasians and other nations of people due to us being “negro”, on occasions where sometimes they knew who we were (Acts 21:37-40) and sometimes they were just going by skin color and physical characteristics (Exodus 2:16-19, Gen 50:7-11, etc.)

Judah, what is your take on the book called “The African Origin of Civilization Myth or Reality by Cheikh Anta Diop? The global division theory of the Southerners (or Negro-African), and the Aryans (Caucasions, including Semites, Mongoloids, and American Indian) based on their response to climate? The book goes into proving that the Egyptians were black and not “tanned” colored individual like many have come to believe.

Alot of “Africanist” writers mean well, and there are some that know what they’re talking about, but many do not….and then there are some that are “disinformationists”, meaning they’re paid to tell half truths. I have the book that you’re talking about, and I’m aware of his, and many other “scholars” claiming that pigmentation and the division of the races is due to climate i.e. vitamin D deficiency due to lack of sunlight. I don’t adhere to that belief. What caucasian scientists call, “melanin” is just carbon. The Most High designed human beings to be electrical, which is why everything is tied into a “central nervous system”, which is just an organic wire framework to conduct electricity. If you ever watch a boxing match, and a dude gets knocked out, the announcer might say “Lights Out!” lol. Don’t get me wrong though, the ancient Egyptians were so-called black. The modern day descendants of the real ancient Egyptians were pushed southward when the Persians conquered the land. They are known today as the Kenyans and the Ugandans; tribes like the “Massai”, etc. The reason that the white man has promoted the Egyptians being “olive-skinned” is because he knows that the Bible constantly tells us that the Israelites looked similar to the Egyptians. Therefore if the Egyptians are “negroid”, the Israelites must ALSO be “negroid”. That was the point that I was getting at in addressing Israelites being called “Egyptians” (Acts 21:37-40, etc.).

another book that might be of help to anyone interested is “Blacks in Antiquity” by Frank Snowden. Goes along with what Judah and RJJ12 were last talking about. It’s not too long actually, and not difficult to understand.
