Tamia is back with a new music video for her latest single, “Beautiful Surprise.” Shot in Malibu, California and directed by Ryan Pallotta, Tamia seductively sings about her love as she waits for him to return home. Her husband/NBA player, Grant Hill makes a cameo at the end of the classy clip.

Director Ryan Pallotta lacks imagination. He has a beautiful singer in Malibu, California and the best he comes up with is Tamia rolling on the floor in that old gray sweater thing. There’s got to be better ways for a woman to occupy her time until he returns. We saw the nice legs in the first scene, so why all leg outfits? The song is good, but the video just seemed…low budgeted. She has natural beauty like Beyonce and Halle. Grant didn’t seem too excited. Maybe they just lost to OKC. lol

She is so beautiful inside and out. Grant is a blessed man and I can only pray that God blesses me with a wife who is in love with me as much as I am madly in love with her.
Good to see her and Grant to still holding. Tamia is sooo gorgeous and chick can really blow. But the song is old by now…why take so long to release the vid.

The video & song were just OK to me. Tamia has a great voice & a natural beauty.
Not how I imagined the video, but I still love the song.
Lets keep in mind here that this is a buzz single and that she is a independent artist. No big company is giving her the money to do these amazing videos that some are saying should of happen. It is a nice comeback to the game. This is old school baby. Tamia is still doing her thing and can blow ANY ARTIST OUT THE WATER. Her Vocals are still hitting hard so I can only imagine what the album will hold. LOVE TAMIA!!

I could have shot some better clips on my Iphone. No excuse for mundane “buzz single” videos. She may be an independent artist, but her husbands has been stipended by the NBA for almost 20 years. Rent some time and space on the White House lawn or stand outside the airport, but don’t just roll on the floor like a love starved playmate. I’m not knocking Tamia, she was briliant. But the director should have done better. You think Kanye and Lil Wayne are working with big budgets? Creativity shouldn’t cost an arm and leg.
I love Tamia and the song! The video left a little to be desired. I can’t wait to hear the rest of her material.

I like this song. It has an old school feel to it. Maybe it’s me, but it looks like some artists are trying to move music back to where it used to be. I sure hope that some of them do, because I can’t take much more of the crap that’s out today! Last I heard, Tamia was suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. I hope that she’s doing well, and it’s good to hear new music from her. :0)
I love the single. Is definately does take one back to the real R&b days. Its not really going to get any airplay on big radio station though. I would have like her to take more risks on the song like we know she can. Hopefully the album will deliver those classsic tamia vocals we have come to expect.I am glad she is making music that her fans like. Leave the electro music to the young ones. The wait always gets longer for her to bring out a new album. Please go and support her guys.
