In preparation for his new album, Trey Songz releases his second single, “2 Reasons,” featuring Atlanta native and recent reality star, T.I. The track is lifted from Trey’s upcoming fifth studio album, Chapter V.
The new album, Chapter V is slated to hit stores August 21st. Trey is also starring in the upcoming new installment in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise.

When Trey first came out, I would listen to a few of his songs here and there. After he cut his braids off, he went over his head (well completely missed it) and all he could sing about was girls and sex. I give him a little credit because he was doing better with songs like Heart Attack & Sex Ain’t Better Than Love. When I first heard 2 Reasons, it was on 106 & Park at #2. I listened 2 it, liked the lyrics, and figured it had a nice beat to jam to. But when I downloaded the song and listened to it again, it said b*****s and the drinks. REALLY?! I kinda like the song, but “ladies and the drinks” works better. My own friends don’t even call me a b****, so why take it from someone who doesn’t even know me. It’s not only Trey. I’m not trashing it all on him ’cause it’s some other artists that produce garbage and say even more disrespectful things than he does. These newbies in the music industry need to make songs like Keith Sweat, Jodeci, TLC, and the old Usher. Songs that make two people wanna make love, not some BS that draws out the whole itinerary about how sex goes! #ILoveYou Trey, but #YouCanDoBetter. And that’s #KeepingIt100%.
