The song is definitely dope. Reminiscent of Dru Hill and Jodeci. Feels like he’s picking up where Anthony Hamilton left off with soulful R&B; like he’s had a lot of pain and cigarettes lol. Me likey a LOT
this is hot! kwame has always been a great producer and dude has a great voice. it’s great songwriting. while i love hearing this young man sing this song, wouldnt it have been dope if Ciara came back with this track. especially with the “all-american” imaging she’s going for right now. i swear i need to be a&r-ing these people. hot for you though, ronnie

Ciara could have sang the song I mean it wouldn’t have been her doing vocal gymnastics on the track but Ciara is capable of make good songs. I don’t know who didn’t love “Promise.” Ciara like many other pop artists doesn’t have a “sound”, which works for some like Britney Spears or Madonna, but not for others like her. Ciara currently is out of touch with her audience. I don’t even think she knows who her audience is, which is why she comes up with random songs that are so different, but not quite interesting.
ciara couldnt even carry this song with confidence . the industry keeps trying to be lazy by reintroducing artist that have a buz instead of building an artist . ciara is done , theres no soul to her music . soul is forever its classic and emotion is forreal . people understand pain because we have all felt it . this guy has pain in his voice . i feel it
