If you haven’t been in the loop lately, Chaka Khan has been looking better than ever! The 59 years-young singer paid a surprise visit to The Wendy Williams Show, showed off her new figure in a flattering dress and shared how she managed to lose 60 pounds.
The newly pronounced vegan credited her gradual weight loss to eating her foods in liquid form, exercising and a keeping a positive and youthful spirit as she always does.
“The thing is I’m not totally on the liquid anymore. When I first started last year, for two whole months, I didn’t chew a thing. Me and my Vitamix were there and it was my best friend. Everything I just put in the Vitamix. I drank and I exercised [...] I don’t eat meat anymore. I’m vegan. The thing is meat…I just don’t trust the USDA.”
With her new figure, the “I’m Every Woman” singer admitted that she’s not pressed to start dating again. Musicwise, Khan is working on new music, dropping a single before the year is out and will be releasing a line of frangrance, candles and chocolates…

Love Chaka…she looks fab. Wow I give her props only drinking her food for a month or so….I couldn’t do it. Also I agree with her comment about the USDA, I don’t trust the USDA either but I haven’t stopped eating meat. I just try to get the highest quality available such as grass fed beef and free range chicken. Anyway, I am passionate about health and fitness so it’s always inspiring to hear when people are getting healthy. Congrats Chaka!!!
