Now that the Basketball Wives has brought their fourth season to a close, VH1 is adding yet another new reality show to its repertoire. The show, Hollywood Exes will star the former wives of some of Hollywood’s most notable celebrities. What’s different about this show is that all these women have actually known each other for years and want to show the world that there’s more to them than just “being a trophy wife with a pretty face.”
The series will star Nicole Murphy (ex-wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex-wife of Jose Canseco – 4 years), Sheree Fletcher (ex-wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex-wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex-wife of R. Kelly – 12 years).

SERIES SUMMARY:
Hollywood Exes is a docu-series that delves deep into the lives of a group of women who are separated from some of the most famous men in America. Simply put, these girls are starting over. They all divorced young and got married even younger so now is when they need each other’s backs the most. And from raising kids to starting up a new business … these women are ready to tackle a VERY busy year.At a glance, all these girls are at a different phase in their relations with their exes. Some have remained friends while others can’t even say their names out loud, but either way, the girls have the support of each other to fall back on. These women aren’t exactly new acquaintances either. Some have known each other even before they were married so there is clearly a strong sisterhood within the group dynamic.
More than anything, this series will prove that through the struggles of a high profile divorce and separation, these women can emerge from the shadows of their ex-;husbands’ fame and fortune, and show the world that they’re not just a trophy wife with a pretty face. This fabulous group’s quest is to establish themselves as independent, successful women and bring relevance, honor and fame to themselves separate from their exes… even if there happens to be some drama along the way. I saw Will Smith’s wife in an interview on CBS last night, I think ET. She look pretty cool to me but look like she can be a b-word if she wants to. She had kind word to say about Jada.

Embarrassing. And oxymoronic- they want to show that they’re more than “trophy (ex) wives,” yet they go on a show that’s based on them being merely the ex-wife of someone famous. Oh well, at least they keep it real with this show’s title, all those other “housewives” shows feature ex-wives and ex-girlfriends but the shows’ titles do not reflect that. And for Will Smith’s ex, how humiliated must her current husband feel for her to still be known as and profiting off of the fact that she’s the ex of her former husband?
True about Will’s ex wife. Her husband probably like get that money. And Will and Jada probably okayed it too…trust. I’m looking at Mayte saying I KNOW SHE AIN’T GONNA TALK ABOUT PRINCE. Bet he got a gag order on that ish.

Mayte’s marriage to Prince was annulled. That’s to say like it never happend. In the court’s eyes she an ex-girlfriend not even an ex-wife. I know he got a gag on her…ain’t NO WAY she gonna be up there talking about Prince. I just don’t believe that!

Will Smith’s ex-wife, what secrets can spill they were like eighteen whwn they got married. He’s been with Jada well over fifteen years, it’ll just be like aunt viv, a bunch of bitter speak. Andrea Kelly, whooaa chile “no”; I would be kind of embrass to admit I was married to R, Kelly for such a long lenght of time. Lets be really he cheated on you throughout the whole marriage with teenagers.
