Samuel L. Jackson will be hosting the 2012 BET Awards next month. To kick things off, the actor filmed a Nicki Minaj “Beez in the Trap” spoof and brings a little comic relief to the upcoming award show. Check out the short clip below.
According to the BET Awards Twitter page, D’Angelo will be performing for the first time on television in over a decade. Rick Ross, Wale and Meek Mill will also be among the artists to perform. Cissy Houston will also be performing during a musical tribute to her daughter, Whitney.
The 2012 BET Awards airs LIVE on July 1st at 8/7pm CST.
