Our favorite pair of twins Tia & Tamera recently sat down with the Huffington Post and answered some fan questions. During the fan interview the two ladies talked about how they were relieved about not having twins of their own, how Tamera is coming along in her pregnancy as well as whether they ever had any beef with the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate & Ashley:
Nooooo! Not at all. Funny story is my brother played Teddy, Michelle’s best friend on Full House. And we used to always visit the set. We actually helped babysit them and they introduced us to the best soup in the world: motsball soup! We love that soup. And still to this day, I love what they’re doing. They actually inspire us. And they’re great! We love them, they love us. There’s no rivalry here.

In related news, Tamera is expecting a boy! She recently told People magazine that she always wanted a little boy because of her love for her own brothers and added, “I helped raise my brothers so I have somewhat of an experience raising boys.” Congratulations to her!

The thought of their being beef between Tia/Tamera and Mary-Kate and Ashely is absurd! People always trying stir up some drama…..awww I wanted Tamera to have twin girls or at least one lil Tamera Jr LOL but congrats on the boy. Her and her hubby are gonna be great parents.

I always wondered why they didn’t get into the lucrative deals that the Olsens did though. They had clothes, toys, games, videos, and movies. Were the opportunities just not there for them because they were black? You don’t even see the Olsens work anymore they let their money do all the work.

Uhhh. The Olsens work still. They have their own fashion line which has just won an award at the CFDAs. And they along with their little sister have also been in movies. They are just more geared toward independent films.
I always wondered that too! I don’t think it was b/c their black – they’re biracial…but the Olsens had a bigger following…they were doing cute films & creating a brand, back then, not a lot of celebs were concerned w/ creating brands…now it’s the ‘in’ thing to do…but back in the early 90s it wasn’t as common.

I’ve always loved these young women and they have remained positive and are talented. I love their reality show and they have a wonderful dynamic.
