I guess you’ve never been to Europe? Go to France, for example, and you’ll be surprised whenever u meet someone who *doesn’t* smoke. Thankfully the US has successfully made it no longer “cool” for young people to smoke with the campaigns from the last couple decades, but smoking is unfortunately alive and well in many other countries —> not just “third world”.
